Moodboards, calls sur Discord jusqu’au petit matin, mind mappings, brainstormings, discussions avec les équipes, partages de contenus. La première partie du projet était de s’en imprégner.
Après avoir analysé et écouté tous les récap de la chaine, nous nous sommes immergés dans l’univers du récap global au niveau mondial et dans des milieux fondamentalement différents.
La LEC étant déjà brandé, la qualité des vidéos utilisées pour le concept de la chaine est exceptionnelle mais rend la chaine dépendante. Ce qui l’empêche d’exister dans l’échange visuel de son contenu. Nous savions que nous pourrions aider le projet à trouver un équilibre sain pour devenir une marque à part entière.

Flash LEC is a YouTube channel. It offers a weekly recap of the regular season matches of the "LEC", the European professional scene of the video game "League of Legends".
The concept of the channel is based on quick, vivid and relevant information, allowing those who can't watch the games to be up to date with the latest results and key moments of the previous weeks, all in a flash.
Narrated with a touch of humour, the project is original and effective. It is nourished by a strong identity, but the concept lacks the graphic unity to stand out.
Flash LEC needed my help to give a new soul to their project and to establish their unique image in the eyes of their community.

Pour attirer l’attention du viewer et proposer une immersion totale, la stratégie et l’identité se façonne autour d'un système de signalétique et en épouse les codes. Ce système de neutralité graphique aide non seulement le projet à mettre son contenu en valeur, mais aussi à ne pas y interférer. Il en tire les points fort d’indications tout en conservant une identité indépendante, ce qui en renforce son coeur.
La stratégie adoptée octroie une visibilité efficace et simple tout en gardant l’esprit énergique.

To attract the viewer's attention and offer total immersion, the strategy and identity is shaped around a signage system and follows its codes. This system of graphic neutrality not only helps the project to highlight its content, but also not to interfere with it.
It draws on the strong points of the signage while maintaining an independent identity, which strengthens its core.
The strategy adopted provides effective and simple visibility while keeping the spirit energetic.
→ FR - Une police de caractère personnalisée
Nous voulions que chaque caractère incarne la fusion entre l’expression graphique d’un pictogramme et l’identité graphique du projet: un caractère simple (et unique) traduit par une information simple.
Ils seront donc tous designés sur une même grille similaire, comme serait conçu un système équivalent de signalétique.

We wanted each typeface to embody the fusion between the graphic expression of a pictogram and the graphic identity of the project: a simple (and unique) typeface translated by simple information.

Le nouveau logo est formel et suggère «Flash».
Il est un mélange subtile et minimaliste entre le pictogramme d’une signalétique et le monogramme d’une identité graphique.
Sa lecture reflète la stratégie et l’univers adopté par le projet, incarnant le symbole idéal, clair et évident dépourvu d’expression au maximum.

The new logo is formal and suggests "Flash".
It is a subtle and minimalist mix between the pictogram of a sign and the monogram of a graphic identity. Its reading reflects the strategy and the universe adopted by the project, embodying the ideal symbol, clear and obvious, with a minimum of expression. To attract the viewer's attention and offer total immersion, the strategy and identity is shaped around a signage system and follows its codes.
→ FR - Identité visuelle
Le Langage visuel bâti l’essence même de l’inspiration du concept. Chaque élément interagit avec les autres dans des sens différents, comme le feraient des panneaux de signalisations verticaux et horizontaux, au sol ou au plafond, accrochés au mur ou élevés sur des poteaux. On y retrouve des composants tels que les flèches directionnelles et les cadres de zone, propres à cet univers, forgeant de cette façon l’immersion dans l’expression visuelle.
Les animations sont vives et autoritaires, nécessaires à la synthèse de l’information.
→ EN - VISUAL IDENTITY
The visual language builds the essence of the inspiration for the concept. Each element interacts with the others in different directions, as would vertical and horizontal signs, on the floor or ceiling, hung on the wall or raised on poles. Components such as directional arrows and area frames are found in this universe, thus forging immersion in visual expression.
The animations are vivid and authoritative, necessary for the synthesis of information.

Flash LEC est de retour pour une nouvelle saison qui offrira au projet la possibilité de transcender son contenu sous un nouvel angle, en mettant parfaitement en valeur les informations qu’il relate tout en affirmant sa position et son existence authentique.
Son renouveau marque le début d’une croissance plus globale pour un projet ambitieux qui prendra forme sous
différents systèmes.
Nous avons contribué au développement de la chaine pour ces futurs aspects d’environnement de diffusion et de communication alors qu’elle n’est qu’à ses débuts pour lui permettre d’obtenir le succès qu’elle mérite. Pour les fans qui n’ont pas la possibilité de suivre la compétition, Flash LEC est prêt à vous offrir le condensé des meilleurs moments de la semaine, comme si vous n’aviez rien loupé.
